THERMALBATH OF TAMÁSI
The Thermalbath of Tamási is one of the most significant public baths of Tolna county, near to the pine forest covered Castlehill (Várhegy) in beautiful sorroundings. The thermalbath waits for its guest all the year round, and the camping place is opened from 1st of May till 15th of October. The thermalbath offers pleasent relaxing for 3.300 persons daily, the number of visitors is 100.000 persons per year. There are 7 different size and water temperature pools in the territory of the thermalbath. The pools are filled with alkaline-chloride, hydrogene-charbonate and high level of salt containing water, which is 52 oC degree of temperature, medicinal water qualified. The water-rush-up depth is 1.200 meters. The curative effects of the medicinal waters appears in various cases of the alteration of extremital joints, hip-joint and spinal cartilage. The water is also effective in the treatment of orthopeadic and accident demaged persons. The 33 m swimming pool satisfies all the requirements of swim-lovers. Two seated pools are filled with 35-38 oC temperature medicinal waters, the others are filled with 45 oC temperature. In the territory of the thermalbath there are 600 parking places in the parkplacearea, restaurants and other shops can be found to satisfy all the expectations.
